I Love You Man, Klick Style

So Ellis is very proud of Chappy's vocabulary. While she takes full credit for each syllable, she also celebrates every word that she eventually recognizes. Today she wanted him to say "I love you." Here is the result...

The Musical Klicks- Happy Friday!

Ellis just completed 3 weeks of music camp where she was exposed to music and dancing from the 20s and 30s + she was able to experience several instruments. She loves the flute and the guitar now!

She had her recital today but unfortunately, Sneezy the Dwarf, was blocking her most of the time. I asked her to repeat her Lollipops song and asked Chap to show off some moves. The 3rd video is the actual performance- she is Sleepy the Dwarf (HAHAHAHAHAHAH) and she is standing beside Snow White. Try and find her!

Let Him Eat Cake

We had a small birthday celebration for our Irish Lad Chappy O'Klick today. Here is video of our sooooo laid back boy eating his cake. By the time he was through he was covered head to toe in green icing. I'll load pics with his cousins when I catch up on the downloads on the camera!

yEEHAW...The Girl Has Talent!?!

Today Ellis' preschool hosted their 2nd Annual Talent Show. We were kept in the dark most of the week about her performance. We knew it involved a wooden horse Papa made her and a cowboy hat (and there was a late night run to Target last night for some "boy" cowboy attire).

Ellis was the first 3 year old performer- attached is the video of her stage debut. The other 8 girls in her class danced together in pink tutus. Yes, we are proud of our little cowboy!

Chappy had his last day of Kindermusic today- I missed filming his good dance moves (and he will crawl with one leg now or on plush carpet). Can anyone believe he'll be one on Tuesday! ?

Well nothing too terribly exciting to report.... Ellis is going on a field trip to Krispy Kreme tomorrow so she is VERY excited. Chappy continues to grow and grow and is counting down to his first birthday. We are all bracing ourselves for a crowded DC Inaugural weekend and enjoying our dance parties with Ellis... here are the latest moves! Paul and I are also in a "Fat-Off" for the next few weeks so please feel free to invite him out for drinks and steak!

2009- WE MADE IT

Yes, it is sad when you are only able to provide two entries in the calendar year... however, anyone who knows us, knows we have been grumpy trying to survive 2008. There were highlights... the arrival of PSK5, aka Chappy... the marriage of Sassy and Crog.... anything Ellis says and does! In addition to embracing my "skinny bitch" and being nicer to Paul, I promise to do a better job of posting the updates and adventures of Ellis and Chap. Happy New Year!
